Pigeons choose a life partner and are devoted to their families, with both parents caring for their young.

On Granville Island again. Saoirse was feeding these guys until we accidentally started a pigeon fight club. They had no intentions of sharing and shortly after, the crows and gulls caught wind that we had seed on our persons. The scrapping got a bit intense (which I left out as I hope nobody watching would want to see that) so we broke it up. With that, we took our leave and may have taken it a bit too far considering a couple of days later we landed in Ireland. The following posts will likely be Irish birds but enjoy these greedy yokes in the meantime.

I was perusing the old playlists for a track when I found this song and thought “Nothing Fucks with my Birdseed”, and that was that. I remember the excitement after waiting four years between Hoziers first album and the release of the ‘Nina Cried Power‘ EP. I've always loved his more sinister tracks like this or ‘Arsonists Lullaby’, and the EP really showed Hoziers versatility from grooving to ‘Moments Silence’ to bawling my eyes out to ‘Shrike’. This is the first time I’ll be featuring the beautiful Bray bastard, and certainly not the last. Thank you for the music.
