007 - Bloedel Conservatory

Domesticated macaws often have to be put in their owner’s will because they may outlive them.

I’d been living in Vancouver for over a year and hadn’t been to the Bloedel Conservatory. Saoirse told me there were birds and we went the next day. I went back with Annie when she was visiting (miss you gorl) but this footage is from the first trip. They have big plants, big leaves, and good birds. Their monsteras have climbed up the conservatory's walls, while our monstera is trying to climb out of his pot. I’m sorry Mr. Monstera but we rent our apartment so you're not allowed to climb the walls. I like the Bloedel Conservatory birds, they're shiny.
