006 - False Creek Geese

Most Canadian Geese pair with a mate by 3 years old, and pairs usually stay together for life.

One evening I decided to leave for work early and bring my camera. I used to longboard the whole way around the waterfront over the summer. This day a gaggle of Canadian Geese decided it was time to cross the bike lane just as I approached, so I joined the gaggle and headed down to the shore with them. I like Canadian Geese, they lanky n’ honk.

This song is more on the melancholic side but there's something reassuring about the melody and harmonies that makes me feel like everything is okay, and it's a blatant bird core melody, those geese look like they're wadling along to it. Thank you for the music.
