003 - Ruby Lake Hummingbird

Hummingbirds only live in North and South America. They are absent from everywhere else on earth.

We had only just arrived at Ruby Lake Resort when we spotted this little guy doing his thing. I wasn't prepared and started recording shaky & overexposed. Over the weekend I tried to shoot more hummingbirds but they fast as all hell, so this ended up being all the footage I got. Luckily he was very thirsty and also gave himself a scritch on camera. Thanks itchy lil guy. I like hummingbirds, they got long tongue.

This song is on the top of my list for required listening. It reminds me of sitting on the beach in Greece and watching the setting sun as time passes. Similarly to ‘22 (OVER S∞∞N)’, the uncertainty of the future and not knowing how long we have left to spend with someone or something really inspires me. Thank you for the music.
