I now have a hefty backlog of footage between crows being silly, baths, ducks, and a rake of fellas from back home too.

Saoirse and I went for a walk up the seawall from English Bay to Third Beach.

This is Petey Senior. We have a teddy raccoon in our apartment called Petey Junior, they are not related.

Saoirse and I went walking down the quay to see if we could spot any heron. There’s a lady who comes out each day to feed them, and we arrived just in time for feeding time.

I was very excited coming home knowing that Maj (my mother) has always had a few robins out back. I didn't know that since I’d left, the hedgerow had become home to at least 50 sparrows.

On Granville Island again. Saoirse was feeding these guys until we accidentally started a pigeon fight club.

We were feeling a bit restless after spending a few consecutive days stuck indoors so we went for a wee stroll to Granville Island. The gulls there are extra loud, so we get on well.

I’d been living in Vancouver for over a year and hadn’t been to the Bloedel Conservatory. Saoirse told me there were birds and we went the next day.

This day a gaggle of Canadian Geese decided it was time to cross the bike lane just as I approached, so I joined the gaggle and headed down to the shore with them.

Have you ever noticed that while eating, birds tend to absolutely yeet their food? I have.

Muscovy ducks have the body of a duck, behaviour of a goose, roost of a chicken and breast of a turkey. However, we still call them ducks, making these some eepy weepy lil ducklings.

We had only just arrived at Ruby Lake Resort when we spotted this little guy doing his thing. I wasn't prepared and started recording shaky & overexposed.

This guy is Frank. Saoirse and I call every Chickadee we see Frank, and if there’s more than one, it’s ‘a load of Franks’.
